This workshop is aimed to enhance the ability of frontline professionals to recognise and respond effectively and compassionately to people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and other neurodevelopmental impairments. This workshop is suitable for caregivers and whānau members, Mental Health and Addiction workers, employees from Oranga Tamariki, Primary Care, Corrections, Police, Education and any other relevant sectors. This is an eight-hour workshop split over two days and includes an e-learning component.

Matua Raki within Te Pou o te Whakaaro Nui are delivering the initial workshops in Kaitaia and Dunedin to provide accessible information, education and tools to help frontline professionals to recognise and respond effectively to people with FASD.
