Katherine Reweti-Russell

Events and special projects lead

(Te Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi, Ngāti Raukawa, Pākehā). My role includes the event management of our national addiction leadership days, collating and distributing publications including the Matua Raki newsletter and supporting the development of cultural competency e-learning tools within the organisation.

Previously I have worked in the health and education sector for 12 years with a focus on Māori health and education. I have a bachelor of arts degree in Māori studies, a postgraduate diploma in public health and a diploma in business studies.

Ensuring people have equal opportunities to thrive is important to me. I value working in a meaningful sector that supports the health and wellbeing of all.
