Pacific workforce development

The Pacific mental health and addiction workforce development landscape is evolving to meet the challenges identified in Matua Raki’s Strategic Plan 2005-2015. This identifies that benefits for Pacific workforce development will most likely occur through prioritising recruitment and retention and training objectives.

Consolidating the infrastructure for Pacific workforce development through establishing capacity within Matua Raki to support alignment and coordination with Le Va and to provide internal Pacific capacity to other Matua Raki activities is one of the core tasks.
